Benjamin "Jamie" Mennell grew up in a small town in Northeast Ohio. He studied History and English Literature in college before moving out to Los Angeles to pursue writing and directing.
He has since produced and directed a variety of short films and an original series, "Cooking for One," short films, "Temecula" (2015), "Noble Rot" (2011), "Mr. Pringle Gets Rid of His Wife," (2010). As a writer, his work has been featured on "The Ellen Degenerous Show."
Most recently, he served as an Editor and VFX Concept Artist for Kobe Bryant's "Canvas City: Musecage," which aired during ESPN's NBA Countdown in March 2017. He has also developed and produced promotional spots for Russian River Brewing, and numerous segments for YouTube.
Mennell devotes his free time to travel, and studying at LA's Upright Citizen's Brigade and IO West, where he has written and directed a number of comedy sketches.
Mennell now splits his time between Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York.
